What I am is, first and foremost, the father of a 13 yr old son who means the world to me. Otherwise, I am a redneck living in the big city. Very much out of place. I grew up in a very rural area in southern Ohio where I learned to love the outdoors. Where hunting and fishing were a way of life and not just something one did "Just for the fun of it". I was taught right and wrong by my single mother and my wonderful grandparents. I say Maam and Sir. And I treat others the way I want to be treated. I am a gentleman for the most part.

What am I looking for in a potential mate? In a sentence, a T-shirt and blue jeans kind of gal who isn't afraid to get dirt under her nails. I'm not in to the gals that take 45 minutes every morning just to put on their make-up. I drive a 98 ford pick-up truck and will never own a brand new vehicle. So, if you have to have that shiny new Audi, we're probably not compatible. No, the gal I am looking for probably doesn't have internet, let alone is a member of POF. I'm trying to get in better shape. I'm a BBW, I guess that's the best term for it.. since I don't like "pleasantly plump". I'm not the freakin' pillsbury doughboy, lol. I've been chunky my whole life. But at the moment I'm chunkier than I prefer to be and I dislike it. It's all good tho'. I'm not the girl that's gonna complain every five minutes about how fat I feel, and I'm not the prissy bitch that orders a piece of bread and a "diet water" at dinner. I don't like to fight or argue.... I think we should support each others dreams no matter how the rest of the world feels about them. I tolerate just about anything but a closed mind. I trust my feelings over most everything else. I am not conventional.. I'd rather spend time checking on when the LHC is going to be up and running again than how LSU did against OSU. I am fascinated by how the world works. I think thunderstorms are cool. And, I think just about everything is funny if you just look at it right.

I'm an audio engineer which means I'm constantly surrounded by creative types. I teach them how to do what I do. I like this. I live out in the country on a rustic (run down) old farm. I like this as well, although it seems like 40 acres is wasted on just one person. Most of my free time is spent socializing, or working on music. I'm an artist. (I felt it was only fair to warn you) Fortunately, I have a real job and don't need to make money as an artist... which means I probably won't starve. It's not uncommon to find me working on music at 3am not just because I want to, but because I need to.
Not really a big sports fan, but I do watch the Superbowl and most of the world series every year, especially if Green Bay or the Yankees are playing. I like the history channel, documentaries, movies and anything that expands the mind.
I have lots of stuff... probably too much. Telescopes, lasers, computers, mixing consoles, and sundry other music type gadgets are strewn around my house. I'm just sure I was the only guy in the neighborhood with a DNA sequencer in his garage. (I got rid of it though.... didn't really need to sequence much DNA.) And I can never remember if the period goes inside or outside the parentheses.

I live in southern Ohio, where there is nothing to do and the closest mall is an hour away. I can be a real smart a$$ and most of the time it's funny but it gets worse when I get mad. With that being said, I do care deeply for other people's well being. I am a nurses aid and I love my job. I love the reward of helping other people. I haven't decided whether I am going to go on and get my RN or whether I'm going into Occupational Therapy. I have a lot of friends that I love to spend time with and yes, I do have a boyfriend. I didn't get on here to look for anyone I just got on here for the tests to cure my boredom.

Well I would like to start by telling you I am your normal average girl, but I can't do that... I would be lying. I am far from your average girl. I like to have fun and I hate to set around doing nothing. I am very random and will pretty much try everything at least once. I am a girly girl but I am not afraid to get dirty, I'll just look good while I do it! lol :) I am a christian but I am not judgmental and boring... FAR FROM IT! In fact the term I like best is I am a Christ Follower. I believe in some different things than your normal christian does, and if you wanna know just ask. I am far from shallow and can pretty much make friends with anyone. I do not know a stranger. I like to go fishing (YES I bait my own hook and yes I even take the fish off the hook all by myself) and I help my grandma out a lot with her farm, so I am not quite a farm girl but hey, I could be.. lol. I am currently trying to teach myself to play guitar and bass, but with writing my book and school I find myself to busy to do so. My book is a teen devotional and I am about half way done with it. My goal is for my book to help teens with any issues that they may have or still be going through. Music is my weakness and I am a great singer I love all types of Genre's but Jazz and Rock are my favorite. My favorite artist is John Mayer... He makes me melt :). I have a HUGE PROBLEM with people who drink and drive. I won't put up with it at all, and I have good reason for that as well. My cousin was recently in a drinking and driving accident and now is in a wheel chair unable to move or speak, he communicates with a board he types on, that he can only type on with is right hand. So sorry drinking and driving is a no go for me. I like to play and watchhockey .Ice skating is soooo much fun. I could do it everyday. I am a huge Buckeye fan and pretty much I just love college football in general. I am going to play softball for my college this year, and also join the drama team...YAY! I like to play tennis as well, but I am not going to lie, I am not very good at it, but hey I try lol. I don't like to be in a relationship that is constantly baggering me on where I am or why I didn't write back within 5 minutes of the temt message they just sent all the time. Eating lobster was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. It kept staring at me, and I just wanted to cry.

For some unknown reason, hair is always the first thing I notice. It's certainly not a deal-breaker. I know many short-haired and bald men that I am very attracted to, but long hair or really cool medium length hair is like a bonus ten points to initial attraction. And because of freaking Rupert Grint, red hair gets an additional bonus 3 points. With that said, initial physical attraction for me is literally transformed by personality. People that I'm initially attracted to can look physically disgusting to me once revealed to be a jerk, and on the flip side, people whom I didn't notice at first glance have become supreme objects of physical attraction in my world once I'm entranced by a personality.

Love my trips to see Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens and Viginia beach. Got many more adventured to expereince.

I am a country girl, I like spending time outside doing things like camping, swimming, fishing, riding 4 wheelers and jet skis, walking through the woods, and star gazing. I am also kinda geeky, I play games like magic, D&D, I am learning other various tabletop games, I LARP with Amtgard, I like video games (especially old school Nintendo games, racing games, and I love my Wii). I am a girl with many sides and interests. I love things that have to do with dragons, vampires, magic, witches, wizards, and other mythical creatures. I also love tattoos and some piercings, even though I don't have any yet. Also, if I didn't have to keep a normal appearance for work I would probably have pink or blue streaked hair and I would dress in more of a 'Hot Topic' style some of the time.

I guess I am looking for what everyone probably wants. I want a man that can be my best friend, my partner in crime and in life, my supportive shoulder to cry on when life becomes too much, a person who listens to me, cares about my opinions and my feelings, can communicate with me with just a look, someone who comes to know me inside and out, someone who doesn't tire of my company or get too upset when I complain or start to nag. lol A man that thinks I am pretty just the way I am, and isn't afraid to say it. Someone who can handle me at my worst and deserves me at my best. A person that encourages me to be better without trying to change me into someone I am not, someone that I can be comfortable with and that I can trust with my life. A man that I have good chemistry with and would be a good lover, and also be a good father to the children that I want to have one day. I am looking for my future husband and I know that it seems like I am asking for a lot, but all of this stuff is something that is just about how I feel when I am with you, so if you like my profile, give it a shot and lets see if we have a spark.
